I've thougtht about this for 7 years! 7 Years I Tell You! Because when my NA "got up & went" I made the "mistake" of putting a brand new NA engine into it because i also had a TT, and I would "never" need another TT. Well, I ended-up selling the TT and that trusty old NA2+2 was still putting out all she had.....but I wanted more. So I pulled that 'slightly used" NA engine with 40K loving miles, sold it for a song&adance, bought a used TT engine from Bernie with 70K certified miles and now I'm doing the 2+2TT conversion. In your case, you already have plans for converting her to a TT so you might as well do it in a phased implementation...there's little price difference between a used NA & TT engine, but since you need all of the other TT components, you might as well get the clip for a $1000 more.......but I've only been thinking about this for you for 7 Years so dont mind me.
